Welcome to Stockport Silver Bands website. We’re a focused, yet relaxed and friendly band, dedicated to playing music rather than playing politics. Non-contesting at present (with the exception of Whit Friday) with a strong social element (see Whit Friday). The Band practice on a Tuesday night from 8pm to 10pm please feel free to come down, new members are always welcome.

Stockport Silver Band Afternoon Concert with guest soloist Mark Wilkinson! Principle Cornet with Fodens Brass Band
Sunday 13th March · 15:00 – 17:00

The band will be playing at a Coffee & Carols night at St Mathews Church Edgeley starting at 7:30pm on Tuesday 7th December 2010

Tickets are £3.00 on the door all proceeds donated to Wellspring

The band will be having an Autumn concert at St Matthews Church, Edgeley on the 2nd October 2010 starting at 7:30pm entry cost £3.00

Stockport Silver Band will be playing at Poynton Show on the 28th of August for more information please vist the Poynton Show Website

The band will be playing at Hallam Gardens on Saturday, we are due to start playing at 2pm and will finish at about 4pm with a break in the middle.

The band had a fantastic night and managed to compete in 8 contests and still finish at Denton by 21:15 to have a few drinks. Thanks to everyone that helped out on the night and we hope you enjoyed it.
